Saturn 12 Feb. Date: 12 Feb 2007 23:40 ut Telescope: C-14 @ F/40 Camera: Lumenra 075M Here we see Saturn, two days past opposition, with zero globe shadow on rings.

Saturn 6th Feb Date: 6th Feb 2007 22:41 ut Telescope: C-14 @ F/40 Camera: Lumenra 075M 4 days from opposition, taken in very poor seeing, the image does show how the globe appears and images, much dimmer than usual, whereas the rings become brighter.

Saturn 31st Jan Date: 31st Jan 2007 00:20 ut Telescope: C-14 @ F/40 Camera: Lumenra 075M This night was the best seeing for both January and February. the Rings are brighter than normal, even 10days before opposition.

Saturn 16 days before opposition Date: 25th Jan 2007 23:30 ut Telescope: C-14 @ F/40 Camera: Lumenra 075M The shadows are now subtly different from those of the 6th.

Saturn about a month before opposition Date: 6th Jan 2007 00:20 ut Telescope: C-14 @ F/40 Camera: Lumenra 075M Note the shadow of the rings on the globe, and those of the globe on the rings.
